Eid al-Fitr (Islamic)

Eid al-Fitr, also known as the Feast of Breaking the Fast, is a joyous festival that marks the end of the Muslim fasting month of Ramadan. It is one of the most important religious festivals in Islam and is celebrated by Muslims worldwide. Eid al-Fitr falls on the first day of the Islamic month of Shawwal and is marked by the sight of the new moon.

Eid al-Fitr is a time of joy, thanksgiving and celebration. Muslims break the fast they have practiced throughout Ramadan and participate in the festivities. The festival usually lasts one or more days, depending on regional traditions.

During Eid al-Fitr, there is also a strong focus on charity and giving to one's neighbor. It is traditional to pay Zakat al-Fitr, a special donation given to the needy and poor before Eid prayers. This donation enables the less privileged to also participate in the festival and meet their basic needs.

Below list is a conversion from Islamic lunar calendar to Gregorian calendar, it may have deviations as regional is determined after sighting the crescent moon.
