Ramadan (Islamic)

The ninth month of the Islamic lunar calendar and one of the most important months in Islam, Ramadan is celebrated by Muslims around the world as a month of fasting, prayer, reflection and fellowship.

The annual Ramadan, which commemorates Muhammad's first revelation, is considered one of the five pillars of Islam and lasts 29 or 30 days, from the first sighting of the crescent moon to the next.

Fasting during Ramadan is a religious obligation for adult Muslims who are physically able to do so. It is a time of self-restraint and renunciation to purify the mind, strengthen piety, and show gratitude to Allah.

The end of Ramadan is celebrated with a festive holiday called Eid al-Fitr. On this day, Muslims gather for communal prayer, exchange gifts, dress festively and enjoy festive meals. It is a time of joy, gathering of family and friends, and exchange of blessings.

Below list is a conversion from Islamic lunar calendar to Gregorian calendar, it may have deviations, as regionally is determined according to sighting of the crescent moon.
