calendar-yearly.com is a non-commercial project. Started in year 2004 as a private project by Marcel Steinger on steinger.ch/jahreskalender.php The idea was to display a country's annual calendar on a single page with all public holidays.

2004

First version of the annual calendar only for Switzerland, with public holidays and with export in PDF version for download. Calendar period from year 1970 to year 2038.

2010

Expanded to more countries and added moon phase visibility. The following countries have been newly added:

Conversion to UTF-8 and expansion to 60 countries. Registration of the domain calendar-yearly.com and migration from jahreskalender.php to the new domain. Calendar period from year 1800 to year 2199. The following countries have been newly added:

Creation of a mobile site at m.calendar-yearly.com

Redesign of the mobile and desktop website on Bootstrap CSS Framework, responsive web design. Removal of the mobile subdomain m.calendar-yearly.com, the mobile and desktop websites were merged into one URL.

All calendars begin with the adoption dates conversion of countries to the Gregorian calendar year.

Creation of over 360 contents and descriptions of various festivities in different country calendars, including a table with additional dates.

We celebrate the 20th anniversary of the calendar website, first version launch 19 February 2004.
Introducing a redesigned start page. Addition of a lunar calendar with all 8 moon phases and with precise calculation from year 2000 to 2050.
